Concrete Remediation Specialist
Specialise in concrete cancer repair, spalling remediation, and structural concrete restoration across commercial and residential projects.
About This Role
We are seeking experienced Concrete Remediation Specialists to join our team. You will focus on diagnosing and repairing concrete deterioration including concrete cancer (carbonation-induced corrosion), spalling, delamination, and structural defects across high-rise buildings, car parks, and commercial structures.
This specialist role suits tradespeople with strong concrete repair experience who want to develop expertise in this high-demand field. Full training provided on our repair systems and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose concrete deterioration including concrete cancer and spalling
Break out damaged concrete to expose corroded reinforcement
Treat and protect steel reinforcement with rust inhibitors and protective coatings
Apply structural repair mortars and patch repair systems
Apply protective coatings and anti-carbonation treatments
Work at heights on scaffolding and elevated work platforms
Document repairs with photos and detailed reports
Maintain high standards of workmanship in accordance with AS 3600
Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in concrete repair or related construction trade
Experience with concrete breakout, steel treatment, and patch repairs
Understanding of concrete deterioration mechanisms (carbonation, chloride attack)
Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver's licence (essential)
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Physical fitness for demanding site work
